Writer’s block
October 8th, 2008 at 10:27 pm (Writing)
I have got it. Don’t know what to do about it. Stuck.
Here’s the thing. I don’t know who my audience is. I want to communicate with other parents and love to talk about yoga and homeschooling and books and poetry and motherhood but … who is listening? I have tons to say and I want to use this forum to say it but … is anyone there?
Sigh. Please let me know if you are.

I’m here.
I’m admin and I read everybody though.
have you wandered around the rest of the site and left comments at other blogs? That’ll help.

I think it helps to start blogging for yourself. I let my topics come out as my day dictated. If it was a homeschooling-filled day of fodder, I wrote about that. If something happened with yoga, or I was feeling especially attached to what it gives me that day, I write on that. People will come as they are attracted to the topic being spoken of. But, a great side benefit of the blog for me has been a personal journal capability. At the end of the year, or as I go along, I print it out and bind it and I have my thoughts and feelings and some of our day to day occurrings right there to remember and my grandchildren down the line to pick up and read . . .
It’s all good. Write it, and they will come . . . LOL!

Oh, so happy to hear that. Yes, that is a good idea to start leaving comments in the blogosphere. Thanks!
